Already had taken the standard DTE pre-assessment, so received an email offering me different interview dates. Was told to prepare a very specific PowerPoint presentation, with very exacting guidelines. Attended interview expecting to give a presentation, but interview consisted of somewhat general questions using the STAR technique. The presentation (which took days to design/refine) was given a one-minute cursory review. I thought the interview would be centered on it.

(Paraphrasing) tell us about a time you helped your team members.
After a phone call with the hiring manager, there was a panel interview with the hiring manager and three team members. A day later, the hiring manager asked me for my salary requirements. I replied and then immediately received an automated email that I was no longer being considered for the position. I called the hiring manager and she said that my salary requirements were too high.
