Most of the hiring they do is for family and friends of the DTE community. That being said, it is not impossible to get an internship or co-op in their company if you have good grades and community involvement on your resume. Depending on your relationship with your referral, you may or may not have to complete an interview. They do pre-employement hair follicle screening and a physical within a month of your employement date after you accept the job.

On-line assessment after I applied for the job. Then I received a link for the Microsoft Teams meeting with the manager. Interview lasted an hour and I received job offer within 2 days.
