Timeline of events without comment: 1. 30min call with recruiter 2. (1 week later) 45min technical chat with 2 engineers 3. (1 week later) received 4 hour take home technical assignment, due in 1 week 4. submitted take home - was not given any feedback and was not covered in any following interviews 5. (5 weeks later) - 60m systems design interview with 2 engineers - was not given any feedback per company policy

1. HR call 2. Take Home Assignment 3. Technical Talk with 2 engineers 4. System Design Interview 5. Values Interview 6. Interview with the hiring manager 7. Logistics call I got a verbal offer from them and they told me I would be getting a written offer very soon. After a week, some new recruiter called me and gave me the verbal offer again and told me to wait for the written offer. A week passed, emailed them to know why I hadn't gotten the offer yet. No reply! After more emails and some time, they told me that they can no longer offer the position without any explanation. Emailed and cc'ed everyone I have had interviews with to understand the reason since the feedback was amazing and they were still hiring. The response I got was absurd. Basically, they thought I would be a good fit for a team but then decided not to hire anyone for that specific team. I did not follow up after that cause I do not care.
