This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company and the least professional company I have ever dealt with. Started the process in June of 2019, finally wrapped up in August. Had interviews with the following people: Head of Model Validation, Chief Scientist, Sr. Software Engineer, and Client Facing Data Scientist. Was told in August finally that I would receive an offer. He asked me what my expectations were. I mentioned that the Chief Scientist mentioned something and the external recruiter who first brought me on mentioned some numbers and locations, but I love the team and the job so just whatever you guys want to do and I will be open. Did not hear anything for 3 weeks, only to find out they rescinded the verbal offer from just an email. Finally got the recruiter on the phone with me and was told, "Unfortunately, that is just how it works sometimes." Turned down another offer and put my life on hold for 3 months for this company and was essentially ghosted for 3 weeks. I do not know what happened, no one really gave me any information. Just some sort of communication to understand the change in mind would have been nice, and I would have been able to take my other offer. Warn everyone to interview with caution.

How can you determine the the proper threshold your logistic regression using the ROC curve.
This was by far the least professional company I have ever interviewed with.
I started the process in June 2019 and I did not wrap up until August. I interviewed with the head of Model Validation, the Chief Scientist of the company, a senior software engineer, and a customer facing data scientist. I passed all rounds and was told I was getting an offer.
I waited around for 3 weeks after I got the verbal confirmation that I would get an offer, put my entire life on hold, cancelled a vacation, and turned down another offer. After 3 weeks with roughly 0 communication, they told me the offer was no longer there with the only explanation being, "That is just how it works sometimes." This is by far the shadiest group of recruiters I have ever worked with, I do not know if they sabotaged me during the offer stage so they can have someone else hired or what happened, but this was easily the worst interview experience I have ever had. Warn everyone to interview and apply with caution.
