Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela DataShield (Salt Lake City, UT) em abr. de 2022

I scheduled an interview with their recruiter a week in advance. One hour before my interview time I get an email from the recruiter saying the hiring manager for the position has asked him to stop submitting applications for the position because they are finalizing an offer to another candidate. So they gave an offer to somebody before interviewing all the candidates. They wasted my time.

The interview never happened because their hiring process was unprofessional.

The process was pretty straight forward although I was not too happy with the actual interviews. I was contacted by an external recruiter and she set me up with 4 1:1 phone interviews. Not a single one of them was really able to tell me the actual responsibilities of the position and what they were looking for, let alone a title for the position they are trying to fill.... Each one of the interviewees had different expectations for what they thought the role would be doing, showing a serious lack of communication especially for such a small team. They also seemed to expect the candidates to come into the role being an expert on their specific product line as well as in channel marketing/enablement, B2B marketing and business development. I dont think that they are going to have much luck finding a candidate willing to take on the responsibilities of 4 different roles. Judging by the reviews on Glassdoor I definitely think I dodged a bullet on this one.

There was no one qualified to conduct the interview. They did not have technical expertise or anyone else on staff who did. There really wasn't an interview process per se. The entire experience was unprofessional. I should have seen it as a red flag.
