I interviewed with Decagon.ai in SF a few weeks ago, and overall, it was a really poor candidate experience. The questions were pretty easy but the company seems to be run by a bunch of inexperienced people who don’t really know what they’re doing. The recruiters didn’t seem to understand how to design an interview process, so they just kept adding more interviews without a clear purpose. In total, I completed eight interviews and two of them after the onsite. They kept assuring me that each one would be the last, only to schedule another. It was not only a waste of their engineers’ time but also an incredibly bad experience as a candidate. My onsite lasted over five hours, starting in the morning, and they didn’t even bother to ask if I needed food. Overall, it was not a great experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to others, unless you’re just looking to use them for interview practice.
