There were 2 interview rounds- the first being a conversation with management, and the second a presentation followed by Q&A. It was friendly, direct and open. There was also time for me to ask my questions and learn more about the role, and the company's plans

The first 3 interviews were very easy: I was encouraged, complimented, and supported. But it's obvious to me now that they were simply love bombing me, and has 0 interest in hiring me. For my 4th interview, I was instructed to create a presentation of what I've been doing for work for the past 4.5 years, so I did precisely this. I was invited to lunch because they "wanted to get to know me first", but when I showed up, they skipped this completely... The CEO told me that he didn't want to see my presentation because he didn't have time. To sum myself up in 2 minutes because he doesn't know what I've been doing all these years, and thinks that I don't have any real work experience. After he left, the girls kept talking over my presentation, laughing at me, and making rude/sarcastic remarks. Only one person asked me questions, but she's the only person with a real science background. So I presume the rest of the people I encountered have an IQ so low that they had no idea what I was saying. Worst interview ever.

One of the worst interviewers I have ever encountered. It started off feeling hostile. He asked why I think I can do this job, because I have a background of doing similar style work? He had my resume…I mentioned how I was looking for another position due to a unique circumstances at my current company, and he asked how can he tell that I’m not going to try to do the same thing to them? Huge red flag. He wasn’t really able to articulate what exactly he did at the company, what the company does, or what the finer details of the position entail. There were so many red flags, of course I wasn’t surprised to not even receive a formal rejection and typical ghosting.
