I was initially contacted via email concerning the position. The president of the board then called to arrange an interview. I interviewed with the retiring library director, along with 2 board members. The interview did not feel grueling or stressful - I felt very supported by these potential employees. Later that afternoon, they called to arrange another follow-up interview via Zoom a couple days later. Their quick responsiveness was encouraging, and their use of an online platform, as opposed to in-person, was easier to manage in such a short time-span.
