I went through the hiring process for Graduate Engineering Trainee in Control Engineering domain. The hiring process included three rounds 1. Technical Written test which included MCQs on Electrical drives, Control systems, PLCs etc. 2. Group Discussion 3. Technical Interview which included questions on Internship, Project and basics of Industrial Control Systems.

My interview experience at Dematic was both insightful and challenging. It started with an initial screening where they assessed my technical background in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The next round involved technical questions related to automation, control systems, PLC programming, and AutoCAD – areas where I had already built a strong foundation during my academic projects and internships. I was also asked scenario-based questions about troubleshooting and system design, which gave me an opportunity to showcase my logical thinking and problem-solving approach. Finally, there was an HR round where we discussed my passion for automation, willingness to learn, and how I fit into the company’s culture. The entire process was smooth, and I appreciated how focused they were on understanding both technical knowledge and cultural fit. It gave me a strong sense of how serious Dematic is about quality and innovation in warehouse automation."
