Performed demo lesson in front of students then debriefed that lesson. Was given feedback about what worked and what didn't. Focuses a lot on classroom control. Come to interview with clear but rigorous content for students to explore.

There is an online application where you submit your resume. The application asks your philosophy about teaching and maintaining discipline. Then there is a video interview where you record your answers to six questions: things like 1) Why do you want to teach at Democracy Prep? 2) Describe a time you were adventurous. 3) Describe a time you got constructive criticism and how you reacted. Nothing was too difficult to answer.
