Interviewed with the then General Manager and President of the Board of Directors. Had a phone call interview with the then General Manager who did a pre-screening before setting up the in-person interview. I did a visit to the community to do my own on-site inspection. I was then called for an in-person interview with both the current General Manager and the current President of the Board of Directors. About a week later I was contacted with a job offer and started the position on 9-11 (of 2015)... which turned out to be a date and "omen" as to how the job would evolve. Very, very dysfunctional Board of Directors and a LOT of upheaval in the community by some very strong, vocal (but small) group of residents. Many "snow-birds" from Canada, so very few people lived on site all year long.
