The career fair conversation and first interview went well. Then, during the 2nd interview, I realized I simply did not care for the person who would be my boss. To avoid creating too much commotion and potentially ruffling too many feathers, let's just say it has to do with body language (not words) and me being a woman. I told the hiring manager what happened. They listened respectfully. I don't know what the result was. The work itself would have been fine if it weren't for the vibe I got from the boss-to-be. It was just this one individual who made the situation uncomfortable. Nothing systematic outside of this gave me reason for concern. I simply passively discontinued the interview process. I have never had this particular problem during any other interviews before.
