Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Dexcom (San Diego, CA) em out. de 2017
Entrevista
The interview process stared with a phone conversation with the recruiter and the the hiring manager. I spoke with the hiring manager twice before being invited on site. I thought my on site interview went well, and meet with 4 people in both the area I was interviewing for and others the position worked closely with. At the end of the interview though the hiring manager came back in and asked a few more questions. He was maybe 2-5 yrs younger than me and asked me point blank if I would have a problem working with him because he was younger and I was a woman. Stunned I answered no and pleasantly tried to change the subject. The interview ended shortly thereafter and I did not get the job. Being in science I am used to it being a boys club but have never had such discrimination so clearly stated before. Hopefully it was just one guy and not a company culture, but I will not be reapplying.

Male slightly younger (maybe 32) hiring manager asked if I would have a problem working for him because I was an older woman. I was 35 at the time.
It’s been over a month since I gave my Hiring Manager interview and I’ve not had any updates. I reached our multiple times and the recruiter got back to me telling me they’ll keep me posted if they want to move forward in the process, however, at this point I’ve considered that I’ve been ghosted. What is even the point of making candidates wait if you’re not interested in moving them forward, just send the rejection and be done with it. Read a few comments about them being ghosters and trust me all of it is true.
Candidatei-me por meio de uma faculdade ou universidade. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Dexcom.
Entrevista
this was a very short interview about my interest and background and about the firm. they also talked about the priorities of Dexcom and my interest in working there. They asked me a few questions but it felt like a conversation
First I had a prescreen call with HR for 30 minutes. HR then emailed me the benefits package to make sure it was in line with my needs. Then I had a 30 minute zoom with the hiring manager. 80% of the interview was focused on me with time for a few of my own questions at the end. If i would of progressed it would of been 3-4 zoom team interviews last 30 minutes each. But I decided to decline the next round of interviews and remove myself from the process.
