Before the interview:
The interview process was formal and just as expected from a big Ag. company such as Diamond Foods. I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist who handed me a set of papers to fill out (personal information) - I was asked to arrive 30 minutes early.
During the interview:
I was interviewed by 3 engineers who based 80% of the question off of my resume. They asked for my specific roles and duties in projects and club activities relating to my major of study. The other 20% of questions consisted of who I was personally, how I got into engineering and some questions about my coursework (favorite/least favorite courses).
After the interview:
After the interview I was given a tour of the facilities and the processing and packing plants on site. Make sure to wear dress shoes with grip or bring along a pair of non-slip boots as the plant was a bit slippery due to oil/grease.
