Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Diamond Peak Recruiting (Aliso Viejo, CA) em jan. de 2023
Entrevista
Quickly reached out to once I applied. Met with owner (Aliso Office). Somewhat of a boiler room set-up. Kept me there for 2 hours with no real direction. Most pertinent question asked was. "So what kind of pay structure do you want?" Owners came from churn and burn company, and they clearly want a similar structure with their current set up. Met with several team members that seemed nice. They explained their 12 hour work days (in-office), and even though they claimed Fridays off....they all stated that it rarely ever happens. Proceed with caution.

So, how much do you want to make. What kind of pay structure would you want?
Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou mais de 1 semana. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Diamond Peak Recruiting (Chicago, IL).
Entrevista
I was invited to complete a phone interview. I would say that it was more of a screening call and less of an interview.
The interviewer actually never asked what my current role and responsibilities are. There was no resume review, and they never had my resume. They just asked basic questions like what salary I wanted, am I aware that the position was on-site, and to share what I know about the company, etc.
I received a rejection notice after about a week and a half and thought, “Well, that’s 10 minutes I’ll never get back.”
I would recommend that the hiring process is revamped and that the interview guide is expanded to reflect an actual interview. Allow the candidate to ask questions to understand the culture of the team, learn the make up of the team, and defining what success feels like.
I believe there is a learning opportunity that can be had with every interview. Unfortunately, this provided none but maybe that is all I need to know about the culture of Diamond Peak.
