Diamond plastics like most major corporations go through temp services to recruit new hires. Mainly because of all the new employment laws that are in effect making businesses responsible for providing employees health insurance immediately after hire with no probation period. Which in the Production industry it actually hurts future employees because turnover rate is 89% with 75% of them within the first 60 days. But the law means that any employee that works 30 hours or more must recieve health insurance and upon release will qualify for unemployment benefits no matter the length of time they were employed and no matter the reasons they were let go. So warehouses found a way around that by simply conducting all their new hires through temp agencies and listing all job openings as temp to perm they avoid ANY and ALL EMPLOYEES Right to benefits because it's a temp position and is listed as 3 to 4 week opening so that way if the new hire can't cut it don't meet up to expectations or they simply quit the business isn't liable for any benefits or explanation they took job knowing it was as needed and wasn't promised any hours or benefits
