After applying on the DO Web Site, a recruiter contacted me within 48 hours. I had an interview with the recruiter where she checked for the fit between my background and the job requirements. After that, within a week, I had a hang-out interview with the recruiting manager. Following that interview, I had an on-site interview. I had an offer within a week. The entire process took 3 to 4 weeks.

I was invited for interviews in NYC with the director of compute, a TPM from engineering, and other members of the capacity planning team. There weren't many technical questions asked, but lots of questions about work style and problem solving intuition around actual demands of the business.
