I submitted my application via LinkedIn and subsequently had multiple interviews with Art Shaikh, the CEO of Digital Will. During these interviews, Art presented me with a set of design challenges aimed at enhancing the UI/UX of the Digital Will app. Initially, he praised my work, but gradually, he started to distance himself. He assured me that he would communicate his final decision on a specific date, which turned out to be unexpectedly my last interview. Unfortunately, that date passed without any communication, so I followed up with an email to inquire about the status of my candidacy. In response, Art mentioned that he would be meeting with his team and provided a new date to inform me about the outcome. However, this date was also missed, and he offered the same explanation of being busy with investors. Understanding his busy schedule, I decided to give him some space and not send him anymore emails. One morning, while browsing LinkedIn, I came across a post from someone thanking Art Shaikh for the opportunity to be hired in the position I had applied for and had been waiting to hear back about. I was taken aback and felt disappointed to discover through a LinkedIn post that I had not been selected for the position. After enduring the lengthy and regrettable interview process, Art provided me with a brief glimpse of what it might be like to work at his company. Throughout the interview, he emphasized Digital Will's purported dedication to customer care. However, I can't help but feel that his actions during the process were unprofessional and very dismissive, casting doubt on his true commitment to those values.
