I applied about a week before they contacted me over email. The first step in the process is a phone interview which was done using their voice chat server. Our conversation went well and involved pretty standard questions based around what I studied in school, the reasons I applied, strengths and weaknesses, and familiarity with the gaming culture/esports. A few days after my phone interview I had a conversation with another person in the company who gave me this take home test of which I had the weekend to complete. It was focused on analyzing potential value for a discord partnership with social media/gaming personalities. After that was completed a few days past then I got the invite to their company monthly game night. It was a great time! However after it was over I never got contacted. I actually reached out a week later to the original person who interviewed me and he responded saying they had moved on with another candidate.
