I was approached by Distributed who were looking for PMs with "experience of the full software development lifecycle". I don't have that but I do have over 10 years practical experience at Enterprise level so we negotiated and I went through to the interview process. My first interview was with a Senior PM and was mostly to establish my understanding of Project work, User Testing and some other items highlighted in my CV. The following week I had a second interview with the Head of Project Management and a Project Director where I was asked to give a short presentation based on my interpretation of a case study I was provided with. Both interviews we're comfortable rather than heavily formal and I felt very at ease during them. I really enjoyed the case study and got immediate feedback on it, which is something I always value.
