Was walked across the parking lot to a second story office building for the interview. You have to be buzzed in and must have an appointment. The lady who interviewed me was very direct, cutting my answers short as if to move the conversation along. She even stated that she is very frank after making a biting comment to one of her employees in front of me. We had a good conversation overall but she came across a little strong. She asked me very forwardly if I had any questions for her multiple times. I felt a bit like a deer in headlights and I think she sensed that. We set up a working interview where I was to work on a model to assess my level of skill. I have a good solid handshake but hers was uncomfortably firm. I felt like she was one upping me. Even after deciding not to pursue employment there I have received two emails requesting that I respond with the added benefit of a sign-on bonus which was never mentioned to me before. I also received a text telling me to check my email for correspondence from them, but not to reply to the text as it was automated. I made my decision to not work there after doing my own internet research. There is a common complaint from customers that felt they were just a number and employees who don’t feel appreciated. I can confirm that there is video surveillance as I too witnessed a computer screen with live video. The staff seemed a little bit tense as well and there was little to no talking when I was given a tour. Overall I did not get a relaxed vibe and the more I considered working there the more nervous I began to feel.
