I had a 20 minute video call with the recruiter who seemed excited to have me interview with the support team. They then scheduled an hour long panel interview the next day. During the panel interview, I discussed my prior experience and answered a few technical questions. The following Monday at 1AM, I received a generic rejection email. This is pretty normal in the current job market, especially in tech, but that doesn't make it acceptable in my opinion. It demonstrates a disregard for candidate's time and energy, and it's just plain unprofessional.
