I applied for the role on a Friday night and had almost an immediate response to meet with the AVP of Sales. I had 4 interviews- an initial meet and greet, a 2nd with a presentation, a 3rd discovery call role play and a 4th via phone with the SVP of Sales. I didn't have specific SaaS experience. This was known from the outset and discussed at 1st stage. At 3rd stage. I was told that this was not an issue and my skills, experience and personality outweighed this. You guessed it. Post 4th stage, I was told 2 weeks later that I didnt get the role due to lack of SaaS experience. A 7 week process, no news for the final 2 weeks and then dropped for something that they knew about right from the beginning.
