Not following up after an onsite, shame on you!
I really expected better organization, feedback, and followup from the recruiter
-she scheduled a call with the hiring manager while she had me on the phone, but sent no confirmation and did not respond to my email confirming the call
-She provided no insight into who I would be speaking with, area of focus, etc. She acted like a junior recruiter that just schedule calls.
-after my onsite, she was cc on an email to follow up with me from the hiring manager, she never did
I enjoyed the people I met, although they were not very prepared for the interview and seemed disorganized in terms of questions and keeping track of time, didn't have time to ask questions with 2 out of 3 people I talked to.
The manager did market segmentation exercise on the fly with me and wanted me to define market size and pricing without any actual research, while I tried to focus on the strategy and methodology he wanted me to pick numbers, which I have no idea why he would do.
When I asked people why they joined the company, 2 of the 3 had something irrelevant to say about the product, nothing about culture, people, career development or even leadership. That as a bit of a red flag.
