Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fui entrevistado pela DuckDuckGo em dez. de 2020
Entrevista
Nice people and paid interview questions. Very well.
We had a video call for introduction and they sent some questions about a background story and case studies for some team problems.
It took around 6 hours (as they expected) and I got paid for this work.

Pergunta 1
A story about a problem solving in the past and some case studies for sample team problems.
The process was well-structured and consisted of multiple stages, including initial recruiter conversations, as well as several take-home assignments focused on real-world problem solving (e.g., leading at scale - covering strategy, technical problem solving, and people & processes).
The assignments required a meaningful time investment and were later discussed in depth with the team.
Overall, the timeline was relatively long (around a month), which is worth keeping in mind. Communication was strong throughout, and the recruiter was very responsive.
The process felt well-aligned with the seniority of the role and provided a clear understanding of expectations.
I answered "average" for difficulty. But if I had the option I would put "fair". I thought the interview process does a good job at filtering for the right skills and fit at the company. It's objective and aims to eliminate bias. It is time consuming though so perhaps does bias towards those who have more time. Personally, I did enjoy working on their interview projects, and that made me think we're a good fit.
