Found a job posting online for a crew member position, and applied immediately. Actually got an email and a call from the restaurant manager a couple days later, looking to set up an interview. I tried calling back, but after no answer I emailed back instead. The manager was very friendly, even through emailing. We set up an interview for the very next day. I came in 10 minutes early because the manager mentioned having to fill out a physical application first. After filling it out, the manager came out (the interview took place in the restaurant's dining room) and began the interview. It was all very simple questions, really just looking to see what kind of person you are and how well you work with people. The manager actually offered me the job on the spot, and I accepted. I wasn't even planning on accepting immediately, since I had another interview later on in the day (at another store), but she was actually so motivating and inspiring about her restaurant that I decided it would be a good place to try working at. I've been there for a month now, and it's great! Working the AM shift, you easily make an extra $2-3 per hour with your tips. You just have to be good working under pressure and merging into a team-like environment.
