The interview process began with an initial call with HR, followed by a design interview with the hiring manager. I was then invited to an onsite consisting of six back-to-back interviews over five hours. The structure was mentally and physically draining, reflecting poor planning and lack of consideration for candidates. Surprisingly, the technical interviews were conducted over Teams despite being onsite, which made communication harder and largely defeated the purpose of an in-person interview. When discussing past experience, interviewers seemed unwilling to acknowledge software processes outside their own, showing little flexibility in understanding differences between large corporations and startups. The most unprofessional aspect came after the onsite: HR sent a message requesting a follow-up phone call but never followed through. Even after I followed up, I received no response—only a generic rejection email a week later. This lack of communication and respect for candidates was disappointing and unprofessional.

I did one interview. It did not have technical or "got you" questions. They were based on resume projects and experience. There was ample time for me to ask questions back. I appreciated being asked to explain the projects I had in more detail.
