It was surprisingly comprehensive. They started with a very simple grammar and usage test and then a teaching demo. The other teachers demoing didn't seem to know much about teaching or grammar, but one of them was hired, along with me. I think the point of it was mostly to see how you engaged the "student" audience and less about your teaching know-how.

I taught a faux lesson to the director. After waiting almost an hour, she took me to a small room and I was going to explain some vocabulary terms but I tripped on my way walking to the board. She laughed so hard that she hired me on the spot and said the students would like me.
