I was called in by the HR manager for an interview and scheduled an in person interview a week later. I met the manager. I thought he was very nice and easy going. He commented that I had more than he was looking for and I thought the interview went pretty well. Commented how I'm qualified for the position. But at the end he moved onto another candidate. He asked me what I wanted to do in career path, so I gave him my honest answer and he doesn't seem like the fact that candidates will move onto different roles besides development. (Perhaps he's afraid that candidate leaves after certain period of time). He did explain to me that entry level developers are paid hourly and there is no working from home policy and vacation are minimum.
