Exl is an analytical company with project coming from multiple clients. For my interview, I had total 4 rounds. First two are from EXL employees 30 mins technical 30 mins managerial. These two went well. Both the interviewers were professional, had a time check of 30mins , asked correct questions and gave me feedback too. Then they said there will be 2 more rounds of Client interview which is in my case Barclays bank. Firstly I had a meeting set for 30mins for the 1st client interview. They were highly unprofessional. They joined 6-7mins late, directly started the interview, asked same type of questions multiple time, drenched me for 1hr 50mins, asked everything possible that I know functional and process wise to understand how my current team works and I literally felt they just want to steal some ideas from my current company's strategies to fit into their processes. Repeatation of same things from a panel of 4, no time check, no proper feedback. Then they have to set another round and that too technical again with the sililar questions. This guy also tried to sneak into the total overview and process of how my current company works. I felt they had no intention of hiring me but to check how their peers are working through setting up interviews with potential candidates.
Since then it has been 20 days. I am calling their HR who is not picking up the call and not giving me any details.
My only question is if you have issues to hire a candidate after 4 round of interviews where I could answer 99% of things then there is no point in not responding the candidate. Te candidates have every right to know the status and what went right what wrong. Such a shameless behaviour.
P.S - I even didn't apply for the role, they called me through Naukri and set up those calls. That time they had time to call me or receive my calls but not now after all the hard work.
Nonsense and unprofessional are the least I can say about them.
