Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela EY-Parthenon (Londres, Inglaterra) em out. de 2020
Entrevista
EY-Parthenon asks applicants -much like other firms- to apply with a CV and a Cover Letter. Then they send invites for an online test after which they decide who to invite to interviews.
This is where EY-Parthenon best demonstrates its absolute pathetic disregard and complete lack of care for its applicants. For a company that prides itself on being not just high achievers but nice as well, EY-Parthenon is the only consulting firm in the top 20 most prestigious consultancies in the UK that instead of at least sending out a standard boilerplate rejection letter, just ghosts its candidates.
Nobody knows why this is. Are they just lazy? Is their HR evil? Do they have computer systems from the 1970's unable to batch send rejection emails with just two clicks? Are they so full of themselves that they think in an already brutal job market, a candidate doesn't even deserve a fair and straightforward indication that he/she has been rejected?
I guess we'll never know, but while MBB receives multiple times the applications, it's not beneath them to send out at least a rejection letter. This also doesn't seem to be the issue for other tier2 firms like LEK, Kearney or OW.. Even boutique consultancies with 12 employees have the common decency to properly reject candidates. Parthenon doesn't, they just decide to ghost their candidates who already put hours of effort into applying for a position...

After sending your cover letter and resume, you will be given an online assessment. From then on, you may be invited to an online interview process where you'll have two 30min interviews. The first interview focuses on casing with the second one focusing behaviorals with a market sizing portion.

Tell me about a recent project you have worked on.
3 rounds of interview.
First-round was a business case study. I was given a few sheets of data points/trends and had to walk the interviewer through the problem and hypothesize potential solutions. The second round was market sizing and fit. I did two market sizing exercises - one industry-specific and one slightly more generic. Fit questions were pretty standard. Last round was more of fit and future aspirations.
