I was contacted by Eagle Dream to setup an initial interview. The initial interview was with an HR representative and the CEO of the company. The CEO was about 10 minutes late to the interview. When he arrived, he discussed himself and the company mostly. Then the very next topic was salary, which he brought up (almost as if he knew it would be a sticking point). He gave me a number that was multiple tens of thousands of dollars less than the current market average. When I explained to him that the number he gave was quite low, he just said something along the lines of "that's just how we pay". Needless to say, I opted to end the interview there.
