I had a recruiter reach out to me about this opportunity 2 months before the first round of interviews.
I received an email request for an initial screening interview which was conducted over MS Teams with a member of the. Following the interview, I received another request for a follow-on interview, also conducted via MS Teams. This was a 5.5 hour interview that included introductions, a candidate presentation utilizing PowerPoint, an interview session with the Innovation Project team, an interview session with business stakeholders, and a wrap up session with an HR recruiter.
I felt that the entire interview process went well and I received very positive feedback from all but one of the interviewers. I was told by the recruiter that I would hear something within two weeks. Several times during the interview, I was told I may not fit in because I did not have a PhD and only a Masters Degree. I was informed I was not selected since I did not express enough interest in the company? I am not sure how to express more interest after preparing a presentation and attending a nonstop 5.5 hour interview answering all questions with an ample response. This process significantly soured me toward the company, and I wouldn't consider applying to any positions there in the future.
