Awkward and slightly cold. Zero apparent respect for my time. Interview questions did not cover the role requirement and required two, yes two people watching me code apparently random solutions.
And that’s after doing a coding task to be completed in advance. No respect for the candidates time and a very poor understanding of the role they were even hiring for.

I had a fairly interesting interview with one of the co-founders. I got the feeling that EdgeTier had a very specific set of criteria for hiring, and I left the interview thinking I probably didn’t meet the brief.
Not the end of the world! The interviewer did say I would hear one way or the other soon enough… and then: radio silence.
That’s right — they ghosted me. The interviewer did, however, look at my LinkedIn a few weeks later. Not sure why.
Just a warning to potential candidates that you might be wasting your time when applying.
EdgeTier, please don’t ghost candidates. It’s disheartening and frankly rude.

Entrevista
The interview process was great. The interviewer was very friendly and gave a great impression of the company. I appreciated the honesty about what the role would be like in practice, and we got to talk human to human.
The process was well structured, and I felt I was given fair opportunity to demonstrate my skills. There were 3 rounds, all interesting and the process was very quick.
Even though I didn't get an offer I'd be happy to apply again in the future if the opportunity came up.
Well done on a great process!
