If you're black and considering interviewing or working here as an Economic Consultant, please don't! They will waste your time with a preliminary 30 minute to 1 hour long interview and a 3-hour long super day where you do a Case study and meet with seniors/managers and a few partners. The interview questions are basic in my opinion. Experience with data and Econometric Software, Knowledge about Economic Consulting topics (Antitrust, IP valuation, Class Certs, etc), Economic model building, explanation of research thesis, etc. Case study was basic. It will be sent to you 5 mins before the interview and they just want to see your thoughts process. Mine was a simple case study about alleged hiring discrimination by a Large retail store and estimating damages from the ensuing law suit (What an Irony, lol). Honestly, the interview was super easy. I didn't like the demeanor of the first 2 interviewers on my super day. It seemed like they weren't interested as soon as they saw me and seemed very unprepared. The 2nd interviewer (a Partner in their Antitrust practice) was literally dozing off intermittently in between questions. Overall, I was given the impression that they prefer freshers from College for the Economic Consultant position. So, if you're coming in with industry experience and are BLACK, don't waste your time. The HR manager literally told me that 95% of the cohort resumes in July because most of them graduate from college in the Summer. A peek at the profiles of junior and senior consultants on their website will tell you how diverse this organization is (Sarcasm).
