The interview was nice, however the description of the work was not. - Electronics team is ~3 people - The company uses Jira, and the Electronics team lead knows Jira exists, but prefers to use other methods such as post-it notes to keep track of tasks. - Their process for FPGA design does not involve verification, the team lead has not heard of verification frameworks such as UVM. They instead poke at the design with an oscilloscope. - Part of the position was to take designs made 20-30 years ago and find modern equivalents of obsolete ICs to continue to reuse them.
