Did a phone screening with HR which was easy enough which lead into scheduling an interview with the partner over their advisory practice. Between the HR screening and the partner interview, they had me fill out a form with three references (1 manager and 2 coworkers). The partner interview was about 2.5 hours, the 1st hour of which was a technical accounting test (not difficult just brush up on debits, credits, and bank recs). Went over the resume and the background of the job position with the partner and seemed easy enough. However, I never heard back yes or no from them as to whether or not I got the job, even though HR had indicated I would get a response either way. I reached to HR the week after the interview and was told that they were delayed to due to some deadlines and to expect an answer in either direction the following week. This answer never came.
