There were five rounds of interview , and all the first four rounds were technical rounds, it went well and final round was with the Hiring Manager and that round too went well , I had kept very good expectations . After 2 weeks recruiter called me and told me a different role i had applied and they are waiting for the final response,so that they can proceed for the Salary discussion. Few days from there I got an email stating that they are not moving further with my application. Not sure whether they do this interview for name sake or whether they are concerned with the experience and salary. If thats the case they should have rejected in the first round itself. In most companies the first round will be with Hiring manager ,whereas in this company it was in the last round.
