Entrevista
The interviews essentially consisted of one interview by phone to start with followed by two video calls interviews on Google Meet. Follow up was relatively quick and responsive. Each interview took about half an hour.

About my previous experience working for government organizations and how I felt about them.
Had a screening with recruiter and then an hour long interview with hiring manager which I thought went very well and recruiter said as well. I was then told after weeks went by that I’m in the running but they are still looking for other candidates. I was then told there was another potential fit and I spoke to the manager at 8 pm on a weeknight to make myself available. I was expecting an offer based on the conversation later that week. I then had an hour interview with 2 other senior member which I also thought went well. The next week I followed up with the recruiter who told me they went with an internal candidate on the latter position despite the manager telling me there would be a contingent offer. The other position they said they were going in another direction because I didn’t have the data science which makes no sense considering my whole career is in data science. Very frustrated with the conflicting feedback and waste of time interviewing. What a shame.
The interview process with Elder Research was structured and respectful. It began with an initial screening and moved into a second-round panel that covered both behavioral and technical topics. I spoke with members of the technical team as well as leadership, and each person took time to explain the role and the company’s mission clearly.
