I was shortlisted for the interview. I have researched about the company, revised everyhting that was mentioned in the job description. But the interviewer was adamant about SQL, which wasn't mentioned in the JD (they call it the 'super powers' one should possess) for this position. I told the interviewer that I know the logic but for the syntax, I will need help, and explained him the logic. Looks like the interviewer - apparently one of the founders - was weak in programming skills himself. When I communicated the issue with the HR, she jumped to deny any accountability saying that she mentioned it on a phone-call (which I don't remember and have a record of to falsify). Anyway, refresh your SQL lessons well to get past the first round.
