My interview experience with Rebecca (manager) felt more task-focused than conversational. The questions were primarily basic, example-based (e.g., communication with difficult coworkers), rather than incorporating scenario-based or critical thinking discussions typically seen in nurse manager interviews.
The interview began without much introduction and moved quickly through questions, which limited the opportunity for a more balanced, two-way discussion. As a result, it was somewhat difficult to fully understand the team dynamics or expectations of the role.
When discussing success in the position, the response seemed less clearly defined, which made it challenging to gauge priorities and how performance is measured within the team.
Overall, the interaction felt more transactional than relationship-focused, which may not fully reflect the collaborative environment I value in leadership.

applied online. got the initial email beginning of Feb to schedule and only got the confirmation 2 weeks later (email said we wld find out week of). the department u interview for may not be the same one u applied for. heard back from them within a week.

The interview conversation was professional and focused on strategic priorities within the organization. The discussion itself was engaging and aligned with my background.
However, I did not receive follow-up communication regarding next steps. More consistent status updates would improve the overall candidate experience.
