The Interview process consisted of: 1. Online Assessment (40 minutes) 2. Initial Phone Interview (30 minutes) 3. Technical Interview (60 minutes) 4. Final Interview (90 minutes) I found the interview process to be clear and straightforward. It followed exactly how it was described in the Job Description. I appreciated that Emergent was using a quantitative approach to narrow the candidate list, as I was aware that there was a lot of competition for an open fully remote position. I preferred the use of the assessments and the Technical Interview as a way to narrow the candidate list over relying upon an Applicant Tracking System to do it. I also appreciated the chance to meet with multiple people over the course of the interviews and to ask questions of each.

After applying online, there was an intelligence assessment (no leetcode), then a 1) phone screen, 2) tech interview, 3) leadership interview, 4) offer. I liked that they went fast, this all happened within a week. Some orgs strech it out over months.
