I met with Mr. Levinger, the CEO. I found several aspects of the experience concerning. There was a strong emphasis on willingness to work 60+ hours per week, framed more around eagerness than outcomes. There were also assumptions made about my religious background based on my country of origin, which came across as inappropriate and, frankly, felt biased. In addition, the conversation was at times steered toward political topics that were not relevant to the role or the purpose of the meeting. I was also asked a basic math question, “what is one-third of seventeen,” in a tone that felt dismissive. They also had minor conversation about me in Hebrew when we were all there, which I found it disrespectful. Separately, I traveled to Arlington from another side of the country at their request for the in-person interview, with the understanding that travel expenses would be covered. After the interview, there appeared to be reluctance to reimburse those costs, which was unexpected and not aligned with standard professional practice. Overall, the experience did not reflect the level of professionalism and mutual respect I would expect.
