I've applied twice and interviewed once. The first time things went quite well with the HR screener; it was a 30 minute phone interview. The next day they asked me to schedule a follow up with their head of sales. The appointment was scheduled and confirmed. A few hours later I received an automated notification through their ATS that the position was filled. They canceled my follow up appointment; I found the timing and communication to be unprofessional. A few months later I applied for a similar position and was rejected without an HR screening interview.

Entrevista
I had a wonderful first meeting with the recruiter and I'm mostly writing this to make sure he gets a shoutout and credit he deserves. He was very knowledgeable about the role and great at answering initial questions, more than any other recruiters I've spoken with during my search. He was energetic and responsive with follow ups.
However, my interview with the VP of Revenue was disappointing. He seemed like he really didn't want to be there and that a decision was made before the interview started - looking left, right, and down at other things throughout our conversation. It makes it difficult to focus on a response when I'm looking at the top of a baseball cap, Your candidates put in a lot of prep and research beforehand, so focusing on the conversation and listening instead of texting is a simple way to show respect.
