Was contacted over the phone by what I believe was an internal recruiter after applying. I was told she’d set up an initial interview and send me the invite after the call. Four hours later I recieved no email so I email her regarding the invite, and 15 minutes later she sends me the invite (did she forget?). The next day, I had the interview over a Zoom call, and it seemed to go really well. I was not contacted by the recruiter for a few days after this interview so I decided to reach out. The recruiter gave me a call and informed me that the feedback from the interview was allegedly that I “didn’t go into detail”. I was asked very vague questions and gave as much detail as was appropriate according to the questions. If the interviewer wanted more details, that was the time to ask for them. So that feedback was strange. On this phone call I was told that she’d schedule me for the next step/another interview, but she never did. I’m not sure what’s going on in the recruiter’s life but I hope that it gets better, because this entire experience was quite unprofessional and confusing.
