Just a couple days after applying was sent an email asking me to take a skills assessment, personality test, and schedule a phone interview. Skills assessment was your typical ACT esque test paired with a programming section at the end, about 2.5 hours total. Personality test largely asked me to rate how closely I agreed with certain statements, about 30 minutes total. I scheduled the phone interview and waited for my interviewer to call me. No one called. I emailed my HR rep and we rescheduled for a week later. This time I was sent an email about an hour before it was scheduled to occur asking me to reschedule again. I rescheduled a second time and finally this time someone actually got to me. It turned out to be someone in the current PM role as opposed to HR which was a surprise, we had a 40 minute conversation about the requirements of the role and why I wanted to work for epic, very casual atmosphere and the PM was very helpful, the position required travel and relocation which I was fine with and at the end I was told to expect a response within a week. One week later I had received no response. I emailed HR and a few hours later was sent a cookie cutter rejection email.
Awful experience aside from the phone conversation. No idea why I was rejected since I received no results on the assessments and the phone interview went well as far as I could tell. I had to nudge HR through every step of the process and in the end it was an enormous waste of everyone's time.
