Unprofessional Recruitment Process!
Eque2 reached out regarding a job role, and requested some proposed times for an initial discussion, during which I was expected to share my salary expectations. However, the role description provided was very vague, so I requested further clarity on the salary band before proceeding.
Instead of addressing my query, I received a follow-up message asking for details around my recent gap in employment. I provided a brief overview and suggested we discuss it in full during the proposed call. Once again, I reiterated my request for clarity on the date, time, and salary band.
Unfortunately, after this, I received complete silence for three days, only for me to receive an automated rejection notification without any explanation.
This experience felt highly unprofessional and poorly managed. Clear communication and transparency are fundamental during the recruitment process, and this interaction fell significantly short.
