An HR rep emailed and offered the opportunity for a video interview. The interview was scheduled for 45 minutes. The hiring manager dropped out of the interview after 30 minutes and left a peer to continue. I was not given the opportunity to ask the hiring manager any questions. When I emailed to request the opportunity to have the full interview time with the hiring manager, I received a reply from HR the following day that they were pursuing other candidates. I understand getting passed over, that happens. But if you schedule a candidate for 45, you own that candidate 45.

I was offered an initial 45 minute interview via Zoom with the hiring manager and a peer. The hiring manager dropped off the interview call after 15 minutes and the peer was either unprepared or uninterested in leading the remainder of the time. I was not given the opportunity for a reschedule.
