AVOID this company at all costs! I also had a negative experience like some other candidates. EquipmentShare's recruiter, L.I. ( using his nitials to avoid privacy issues), reached out to me on LinkedIn. During the initial screen on Google Meet, L.I. was very enthusiastic and made outlandish promises like claiming that he could get me RSUs for compensation. Then, I went through three more interview rounds (live SQL test, hiring team call, take-home assignment with panel interview). The take-home assignment took way longer than the recruiter said it would. The hiring manager didn't even attend the panel interview (red flag) but it seemed like the panelists liked my presentation.
During this entire process, L.I. would not respect my privacy or time and would call me multiple times a day for frivolous things like updates that provided no value. He kept saying I was the perfect fit for this role and that I was basically guaranteed this role. After I completed the panel interview, L.I. was radio silent for two weeks. The dude who had called me multiple times for nothing didn't provide any updates about my candidate status. About two weeks later, I texted him asking him for an update. He texted me back saying that I wasn't selected for the position and that he had "forgotten" to send me an email about my status. The dude who had called multiple times to make sure I was interested suddenly forgot to send me an email about a critical update? Yeah right! Avoid this company, since they obviously have deceptive recruitment tactics.

Very straight-forward and laid back. They want to have a conversation about your experience and see if you'd be an asset. There were 3 total interviews. Hiring manager, head of e-commerce and head of marketing.

For me, the process began with outreach from Michelle Chavez. After connecting, we had a couple of open and direct conversations that gave a clear overview of the opportunity. I was then introduced to Johnathan for a deeper discussion around the role and local territory, which was detailed and informative.
From there, I met with the local team in person, including the GM, Brett Rymer. Each step of the process was conversational and engaging while still focused on mutual qualification. The team was transparent about expectations and took the time to answer questions thoroughly.
Overall, the process was professional, straightforward, and well-structured. The openness and clarity from everyone involved were key factors in my decision to accept the role.
