Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Esri em jan. de 2013
Entrevista
A current employee gave my resume to the hiring manager, and we talked on the phone a couple times, just getting to know you type stuff. I was scheduled for an on-site interview from the East Coast, and flew out. The interview was the most intense I've ever been involved in, but there were no surprises. I talked to two people every hour from 8AM to 5PM. It was laid back, but still professional. I had one or two follow-up conversations with additional people before HR called with the offer.
The HR team worked with me throughout the whole process, and left nothing to question. I was very pleased with the hiring process. Hiring probably doesn't vary so much between teams, but I believe on-boarding does. Mine was pretty vague, a process that we are improving on my team.

The most difficult questions were in depth, procedural questions regarding the ArcGIS platform and certain industries, mostly because they require complex answers.
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Esri (San Antonio, TX).
Entrevista
It took very long to hear something back in between each phase. There were multiple interviews. Email questionnaire, then phone interview, then video interview. Finally, in person interview with managers.

How does your experience prepare you for this role?
Three interviews. Recruiter had horrible communication. Went to an office for 5 hours just to find out I didn’t get the jobs after days of waiting. They even gave me a full office tour….
Easy and multiple steps with hiring manager and team you are interested in joining. Just be yourself and talk about your experiences and how GIS is the best thing ever.
